Do you want to learn how to create an online course with ease? No more integrating multiple, maybe even 3-4 separate software’s just to make a simple online course!
In this blog post, I’m going to show you that there’s one software you can use to create the whole course; the membership area, the order form, the video sales letter and much more.
Furthermore, if you’re a complete beginner and don’t have videos of your own, I will show you how to leverage videos out there and make your own course with them
easiest software to create an online course
The software that does all these is called, ClickFunnels. This software is the biz-nizz when it comes to marketing and delivering any type of product to any type of lead online.
It’s a must have for any entrepreneur, internet marketer, business owner… it’s just a must have in general!
Let’s hop right into it
- Login to your Clickfunnels account and click on the ‘Build Funnel’ button from the menu drop-down.
- If this pops up, make sure to select the ‘Start CookBook’. If you’re just starting out, this is the easiest way to do it.
- Shortly after, you will be presented with different pre-built funnels.
And inside of each of these there is an explanation video by Russell Brunson (Founder of Clickfunnels).
For the purpose of this tutorial, we’ll be using the Membership Funnel template.
I don’t like how they have it all setup, so I would delete the VSL and offer wall right now.
- I will add a new step now, which is a ‘2 Step Order Form’ . Here’s how you go about it.
- After adding the Order Form, click on ‘Edit Page’.
- And then just edit the page to however you’d like it to look, or even just stick with the default and add your logo.
It’s super easy with their drag and drop editor. I don’t want to waste your time explaining it here but I’ve explained it super in depth here: How to Use ClickFunnels.
TIP: You should make this page as simple as possible. Since you’re selling a video course, the page should just contain a preview video and an order form.
After the person orders, you can send them to an offer wall. This houses all the information you get and other incentives.
Setting up product information & fulfillment email:
The Membership Login Page
- You can move over to the ‘membership access page’ step. This is where the user/member can create their account or login.
Just an FYI: The ‘login url’ link is for people who already have an account, and the ‘secret login url’ link is for people who don’t have an account yet.
Creating the Online Course Itself
Furthermore, you’ll also have the option to create different sections for your courses and determine if it will be restricted or not for certain members. So, let’s see how it works.
- Click on ‘Add New Lessons’
- Fill in the name of the lesson section. Choose if this section would be restricted to those that haven’t paid for the course.
- Then go ahead to create a new lesson under the section you’ve just created. It’s pretty self-explanatory.
But Making videos isn’t my thing…
That’s totally fine if you fall into this category, it use to not be my thing either. So I have 2 answers for this possible equation 🙂
My first answer would be: maybe try to step out of your comfort zone and give it a try!
But if that’s just not even an option, below I explain how you can leverage other people’s YouTube videos and use it for your own online course!
- Click ‘Open Editor’. Design the lesson page however you want.
- Go to the settings tab >> copy the video URL from YouTube >> change the ‘VIDEO TYPE’ to YouTube and paste the video URL beneath it.
- Then preview to see the lessons!
It’s really that simple!
You can create an entire course with other people’s YouTube videos! It may sound funny, but plenty of people will be happy to give you their email to get access to tons of amazing content all curated into 1 FREE online course, making it easily accessible for them!

Conclusion
This is very important: NEVER CHARGE ANYONE directly for other people’s YouTube videos. You can use this strategy to get their emails, which you could use to market to them later.
Additionally, you could even drop links to Affiliate products you’re marketing on the lessons inside your course.
But DO NOT charge for this online course, I’m pretty sure that’s against YouTube’s TOS, so please… don’t do it!
